I went to the Carlton Road Kitchen while waiting for my car to be fixed. Come for a takeaway coffee, left with my lunch. The personal is very friendly and patient and the food is good with generous portions.

The smell of bacon drove me to it, I swore upon leaving I would stick to my diet. Then as I said the smell bacon drove me to it lol, I literally ran across the road giggling because it was breakfast friday yay. On walking through the door, I received a very warm welcome from staff and customers. I was greeted to a fantastic standard, made to feel special and I truly loved that - considering I was feeling very ill. Ordered a regular bap or cob depending on the readers' preference, bacon, egg, tinned tomatoes and butter. I was impressed by the size, the smell, the cleanliness of the cafe and the warming colours running throughout with the placement of pattern. Then I was sidetracked, which means the meal was incredible and I ordered a corn beef salad cob with salad cream (as it should be) snaps crisp, a tango mango and I paid around £6-7 which in hindsight is pretty reasonable especially for the sizes. On breakfast baps, you better believe size counts!! My partner ate the cob, and he said it was loaded and fresh, and he enjoyed every bite. Plus, he mardy, so it must of been good. Very satisfied with the food, Customer Service and overall it's the whole package. I'm not made of money but roll on payday in April and I'll be back for a whole cheesecake, which look absolutely devine, enough to drop and pray for. Please keep doing what your doing, because it's a shame your not bigger with a car park lol. Have to try, have to moan when you eat the cob and go back for the cake.
